We are the Armstrongs, Ty, Kim, Sydney, Madison and our four legged baby, Stella. Our last chapter was the wild and successful adventure of being food truck owners in Denver, CO. After running an incredibly unique and massive pizza food truck, for FIVE amazing years, as a family we came upon an opportunity that allowed us to sell the truck along with the business and start a new adventure. As the girls, Sydney (22) and Madison (20) got older they expressed their interest in branching off and beginning their lives, Ty and Kim knew that they didn’t want to run the food truck without them. What was their next adventure going to be? After spending a lot of time talking, they decided that they wanted to travel and see as much as they could; but how would they get from point A to point B? An RV? They had already seen a lot of the country with the girls and knew that they wanted to broaden their horizons a little bit further. Given the wonderful world of technology that we live in today, YouTube became a big help in making the decision to purchase a Lagoon 450F catamaran to explore the world on.

Since we bought Dauntless, we have almost finished our state of the art refit and have been living on the water since November 24, 2020. We have made some amazing friends who have helped guide us in learning to sail and have had the opportunity to make some pretty long passages. Namely, delivering an 82ft Nautitech from Cienfuegos, Cuba as well as a 70ft Sunreef from St Thomas, USVI back to West Palm Beach, FL. We now have just shy of 3,000 nautical miles under our keels and are embarking on our first solo adventure. We hope to catch up with our friends and meet them in the beautiful Caribbean very soon.
